Ford vanished for some years from the world of rock after the releases of the two albums. The album she dominated, "Lita" which came out in 1988 brought her back with the umph. The single 'Kiss Me Deadly" and the ballad "Close My Eyes Forever" have been hugely popular. However, she only had a short career and disappeared from the scene for a number of years. The release of "Black" to the public in 1995 followed the album 'Wicked Wonderland', which came out nearly 15 years after. in 2016, the latest album'Time Capsule'' was released. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the prestigious Certified Guitar Legend Award.
